HomePortals provides a platform that combines a layout engine with an extensible resource manager.

HomePortals can be used as a standalone framework or plugged into a larger application with its own architecture, such as a traditional MVC framework. HomePortals provides developers a pluggable platform in which web pages can be built or assembled by aggregating multiple discrete elements and modules into a single unit.

Using HomePortals, a developer needs to only specify which elements will be displayed on a page and in which layout regions. The engine will handle the instantiation, execution and rendering of these elements and will display everything as a fully rendered HTML page.

HomePortals can be used with any CFML engine compatible with Adobe ColdFusion 8.01 or above.
